Contacts

No matter what we are learning each week at agility we always practice our contacts. We are conditioning Dris to stop with his back paws on the contact point. He has his toy as we'd actually stopped for a break and he stole his toy and headed over the A frame himself so I caught up to reward his "stop" on the contact. We were standing at the bag in the background!! He did well today with some intricate moves. He seems to enjoy it all! The toy I use for him is a clam that I can put treats in for him to access when he gets the toy. It has velco to close that he pops open to get his reward. He's very food orientated. The toy was dropped at his feet so he could get the treats I dropped for him.
