Reflective Dereliction (DS107)

As we lost Sarum Stroller earlier this week I thought I should make the effort to find some dereliction.  Tim clearly had a difficult life and yet he produced some wonderful photographs in spite of his problems.

We were at Ropley Station on the Watercress Line this afternoon, the sun making a very welcome return after a dire morning of rain.  In the station yard the railway has a variety of pieces of engine and rolling stock in various states of dereliction, renovation and ready-to-go.  This is a section of engine reflected in a large puddle of water.

In the extra, a switch on the station wall I just found fascinating.  No idea why I like it, possibly the curve of the conduit, possibly the contrast between the shiny green colour and the muted brickwork?

Thanks to Marlieske for hosting Derelict Sunday.
