V & A Museum and Hyde Park

On a wet Sunday we took refuge in the V & A museum. We both enjoyed the theatrical costumes and a section on censorship. There was also a fine section on jewellery and this piece of Lalique really caught my eye taking inspiration from Thistles.

It brightened up later for a walk through Hyde Park where we spotted an unusual edifice in the centre of the Serpentine. Not sure of its purpose but certainly eye catching. We also checked out the Albert Memorial after it’s £11.2 million make over.
