Start of a Wild Goose Race

A very soggy morning when we went out for our walk. So wet that the Allotment Committee decided to postpone this afternoon’s AGM which was due to be held on the site with tea and cake and anything g stronger if you wished.

Lo and behold around 2.30pm the skies cleared and we had a gloriously sunny afternoon perfect, if a little chilly, for the meeting.

So we get to enjoy the fruit loaf I baked for the communal table and instead of attending afternoon tea I cooked tomorrow’s meal for when Al and Liz come, followed by a Sunday Roast for tonight’s dinner.
