The Brooklyn Bridge

Quite a nice day today - there's a nice crispness in the air, which is just nice for walking around in - not nearly as cold and uncomfortable as yesterday.
Having visited NY previously (albeit only for three days), we had already done a fair bit of the touristy stuff (such as the Empire State Building, Guggenheim & Museum Of Modern Art etc), so this holiday was more about seeing the stuff that we missed, but mostly about doing the free stuff. Such as walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Last time we were here, we were a bit unsure about traveling on the subway (having watched waaaay too much Law & Order, CSI:NY etc etc), and so only really tried it once; on our last day of the holiday. So, this time, we made a point of buying the 7-day metro card which gives you unlimited travel on the subway for one week. Thus, we were up early(ish), and got the subway over to the Brooklyn side of the bridge, and walked back across to Manhattan.
It is a lovely bridge, and being a Sunday, there were lots of New-Yorkers out jogging and cycling across it, and some others posing for the occasional photo.
From there, we walked down past City Hall, and past the courts, notably this one, which is featured in Law & Order a lot, and (more importantly) in the Godfather, where the cop guns down the rival mafia boss (during the christening/assassination scene towards the end).
We ended up in Grand Central Terminal (not Station - apparently there is no Grand Central Station), which also offered ample photopiccing opportunities, before heading back to the hotel via Times Square to nurse the blister on my heel!

Potential blips:
* Tighter crop than the pic above, discarded as I felt the one posted gave the lines more emphasis - right choice?
* Classic Grand Central View
* Police Box on Brooklyn Bridge
