Mostly Six Five Oh

Evening commute

San Francisco train approaching.  Loved her cool sunglasses.

Been doing my due diligence on the properties we viewed yesterday.  The SoMa loft - as we already knew - comes with a lot of street crime (particularly assaults and noise nuisance - probably when the clubs let out) but not property crime which is pretty much non-existant as it's not residential (but that's changing).  On the flip side the Mission condo comes with other violence, gangs along Mission Street (it was ever thus), and then in the seller's disclosures this morning there was a note about a robbery in the building where someone had broken in through the garage.  Crime has been getting worse in SF, it's not news and it wasn't exactly fantastic when I left.  I guess I feel more comfortable with street stuff than someone breaking into my house all the time.  Redwood City ain't no picnic either although much less.  The police shot and killed an armed man across the street from our apartment last December, so wherever you go there's gonna be something...

A lot to think about.
