Pool Problems

Our losing water problem has turned into a taking on water problem.  In trying to find the source of out big pool leak it was discovered that there is water under the pool! Once the pool was drained water and sand began bubbling up through the defective/decayed drain pod.  In order to relieve the pressure under the pool three holes were drilled in the bottom.  We are now pumping approximately 6 gallons of water per minute out into the front yard.  It's a nightmare and a mess.  Guess we'll find out more in the coming week.  Until then, we got a new photo opportunity.  Might as well blip it up!

My oldest is still struggling with her concussion.  She sees the doctor tomorrow.  My wife is planning to head down to accompany her to the appointment and offer a little Mom support.  It's tough being so far away when she is having trouble.
