The Place of Kindness

I went with my friend from our village to Kilmarnock to visit a group meeting in a local pub at 10am - a first for me :)
The owner opens his doors in the morning and provides tea , coffee and scones free for people in the community to meet together . Discussion of this Joseph Rowantree Foundation paper was the reason for the meeting we joined in on.
It was very interesting!
Best of all it wasn't a group of retired ladies deciding what charitable work they would like to do. 4 youngish guys genuinely trying to think of ideas to involve everyone in making community life better. See extra #AyrshireBeKind
