Trees and bushes - nothing was safe.

One tree was pollarded using several hand saws and lopers off my tied stepladder. Bits that were out of reach were addressed from ground level using my extending pruning saw. I don’t agree with domestic use of chainsaws. Amazing how much light suddenly appeared.
A couple of big wild rose bushes got a serious trim and shaped by hand pruning. And the first of autumn leaves were raked.
