Wudon

Thanks to our various travels, today was the only opportunity in four weeks to see my PhD student, and I still had to go to Glasgow. This meant that I visited the University of Glasgow for the first time after 31 years as an academic in Scotland! Unfortunately it's not in a nice old building like this, but an ugly metal box (see Extra). I did some work there and, after we'd had our discussion, we went for lunch with her sister and L in the Japanese restaurant from where L was waitressing until recently! This was fun but, after I'd spent some more time working, I spent 40 minutes failing to unblock the sink in L's bedsit.
