Red tail hawk

Today was a wet cool day. I took a quick walk down to the lake right after work. With the dampness I was not expecting too much, however I then spotted this hawk chasing a little red squirrel see extra shot. This poor little squirrel was fighting for his life as the hawk was looking for dinner. I got close to the tree where all the action was taking place my presence the scared away the hawk and the little squirrel was safe this time.
