Borders without Borders

Arrived back in good old Edinburgh this morning at the back of ten, after a relatively sleepless flight home (I can't sleep on planes at all). After putting a washing on and having a shower, we decided it would be for the best just to stay up and go to bed at a normal time. The wife decided that she needed a particular book, and so we drove down to New Craighall retail park, for a wee nose in Borders and a coffee.
I had to laugh - no more than 18 hours prior to us drinking our coffees in Borders in Edinburgh had we been sitting in Borders next to Madison Square Gardens in New York, drinking a coffee in their cafe, mustering up the strength to hit Macy's on 34th Street for some bargains.
