Left with one lone guinea-pig, our daughter and son-in-law have found her company in new pets from a guinea-pig rescue centre - a 9-month-old mum and her 8-week-old baby. Pearl and Petunia like to play trains, following DeeDee everywhere. They're all very cuddly.
Went to a very interesting talk at Woolsthorpe Manor (family home of Sir Isaac Newton) on Sir Joseph Banks's discovery and cataloguing of plants in Madeira. The two botanist presenters were curators from London's Natural History Museum.
It's been another hot, sunny day of clear blue skies; just incredible weather!
