Ripening

Not a good year for tomatoes in the garden.  I picked most of them quite awhile ago but left a few under plastic to see if they would ripen.  We've had a few warm days and they're ripening slowly.
We've spent all day in front of the tv listening to the testimonies of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Judge Kavanaugh.  Greatly moved by her testimony; appalled at his anger, belligerence, interruption of senators, avoidance of answering legitimate questions, partisanship. I believe that his appointment to the Supreme Court is a done deal.  Another of the unbelievable  events happening in the US since that despicable man became president.
