Flower Friday - No Flowers, just Birds

I didn’t catch any notable flowers today, just these two Corellas as they searched the date palm for bug snacks and made a lot of noise which made it easy to find them. I started talking to them and they seemed very attentive, pulled out the camera and they became wary!

They are very destructive in big flocks but still are gorgeous birds and here’s a link to a lady who had one as a pet, quite fascinating ;o)xxx

In the extra’s is Madame Black Swan performing her early morning ablutions and yes there are some bottle brush flowers behind her, she wasn’t impressed that i was there ;o)

Can’t wait for the weekend, off to the city for lunch with J tomorrow. Its the day of the Australian Rules Football Grand Final in Melbourne and the West Coast Eagles are hopefully going to win ;o). All the big screens everywhere in the city will be showing the match and i think it will be a great day to be in town! Then tomorrow night out for my final Birthday dinner, hope i can keep up the pace!! :o)
