They're changing guard at St James' Palace

Well not quite, but a variation on this song filled my head this afternoon.

Zen dog was presented with her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award at St James' Palace in the presence of HRH Duke of Edinburgh who looked as spritely as ever and remains very quick witted and charming.

It was a wonderful occasion and the State Rooms of the Palace are just fabulous. Photography is not allowed inside the Palace so this Guardsman on duty outside had to contend with a stream of young people posing alongside him. Still I think he and Zen dog make a very good blip don't you?
