Silver Clay

Today I spent a very pleasant day learning all about silver clay jewellery. It’s silver made into a paste which you shape as you desire then fire or burn off to reveal the silver which then needs brushing and polishing to bring out the silvery shine. I had a lovely day came back with a few nice bits and bobs but I don’t think I’m going to be taking it up in a big way, you need quite a lot of equipment to do it properly and I just haven’t got the patience or creativity to do my own designs.
