Seaweedy Troon!

Today was the first time I've gone down to the beach and not wanted to walk along the sand, and you can see why: vast swathes of slippery seaweed are lying several inches deep all over.

What you can't see is the fierce wind blowing the dry sand inland, so even though I walked into the town along the prom, which was partly protected by the dunes, I ended up with fine sand in my face, ears and hair. On the plus side I got a free facial! ;-)

Now back home in Balfron via Glasgow to have lunch with D#1, who was discharged from hospital yesterday, but is still on antibiotics and waiting for an MRI scan.
