Pincushion

Pincushion
(Leucospermum Cordifolium)
The beautiful flower is at first a bit prickly, but soon it turns out that it is not pins, but exuberant and enthusiastic sprits.
The name Leucospermum comes from the Greek and literally means white seed. Cordifolium means with heart-shaped leaves. You would therefore think that there is a big symbolism behind this flower. But unfortunately, you must create the symbolic value yourself. The different colors all have their own meaning.
The South African small tree originally grew along rocky slopes on the coasts in the southwest of the Cape of Good Hope.
