Caracara vs Mockingbird

Another hot day: 32. C, humidity 27%, no wind. We decided to make a short walk in the morning, just 8,500 steps. We found in the way this scene: apparently, this caracara was just getting a branch (for the nest?), but this couple of chalk-browed mockingbirds flew furiously against him. I haven't seen, but they probably have hatchlings...
