River of Flowers

Sunday: Walnut Tree Autumn Leaves

It had rained overnight but soon dried off.
Have been outside in the garden almost all day, had to put an extra fleece on but such lovely weather for gardening.
I’ve cleared all the dead foliage from the long border behind the house, cut back buddleia and brambles, shoved more Cordyline leaves into the green bin and cleared the path. Most of the garden is left to rest over winter but I like to let a bit more light into the house ...
The Robin was very pleased with my efforts and was darting about find tasty morsels to eat.
Planted out pots of calendulas and primroses into the border. Potted up some black grass into small pots so I can have more for Spring.
Tired after all the fresh air, good night all xxxx xxx xx x
