Heart of Gratitude

Sunday means warm croissants, milky coffee, fruit (kefir a more recent tradition) in our family.

All of us, round the table afterwards, peeling peppers for the traditional Portuguese salad. Julia: "didn't even know peeling peppers was a thing!"

Quick jaunt into Reguengos for supplies for tonight, though I try hard never to shop on a Sunday.

Too late back for church... shame.

All of us cooking/lighting charcoal/cleaning/preparing for later - and finding this heart-shaped potato.

Quick walk to Lake with Lula.

And then... ten of us (plus one small puppy) for a long, leisurely dinner, ending with each of us saying one thing we're grateful for in the month of September - hard to choose, so many things, we are blessed indeed.
