Hello ~ backblip

Wednesday 26th September.

Up early, 'Matilda's' packed and we're off on our journey up to Yorkshire.  The journey was pretty good and the M6 obliged us this time through the notorious road works around Jncts 18 & 19 by not grinding to a standstill for 3 hours like it did when we were heading up to Scotland in May.

Our campsite at Eshton, near Skipton is delightful and on a working farm.  This young heifer and her mates are in the field right behind the caravans and she particularly gave us a welcoming stare.

A&M from Evesham are already on the site.  It was great to see them again, Just waiting for G&M and little Grace (the Boston Terrier) from N.Wales to turn up to make our crafty stay in Yorkshire perfect.  We're all here for the wonderful all things woolly Yarndale show on Saturday, and maybe Sunday too?!
