bye bye Southampton

The cruise was wonderful and Kathy and I had a really great time. Took this on Friday afternoon whilst enjoying cocktails and listening to live music on the top deck for the sailaway. It's the first time I've been on a cruise but Kathy's been on quite a few now. This is the view of Southampton in the afternoon sun.

The cabin was lovely and had a balcony with a delightful sea view. The ship was huge like a floating hotel and there was a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us.
