A more or less free day turned into a busy one, what with buying my son and his partner a mattress (and a coffee table for me), going to Asda and then later bussing it into town for all the things I forgot about this morning!  I bought a pair of shoes that snuck up on me too.

There is much more fungi in my little garden than last year... I suppose the tree roots are more decomposed?
