Road Into Park

This road leads to the heart of Vereen Gardens with its  many boardwalks over the marsh and trails to the Intracoastal Waterway.  The debris beside the fence from Hurricane Florence is likely to be there for a long time if the pattern from Hurricane Matthew in 2016 holds true.    This is a lovely drive, and the fence adds some rustic beauty to the entrance way.  The extra is across the road using a filter in the ART menu of the Olympus call Vintage.  The local school system in Horry County (SC) opens tomorrow after as they have been out since the storm.  The schools in the county (NC) where we live open October 8th.
