On duty

My name's Oisian of that Ilk and I'm in charge of guarding the yett at the main entrance to Castle Talpa.

I was born on North Uist in 1937 and, although a bit past my prime, I'm still well known hereabouts as a bonny fighter. So watch your step!

Laird Talpa is still a bit peely-wally and meanwhile confined to his chamber, but he sleeps soundly with me at the door.
