White & Purple Orchids

This bunch of orchids is rather unusual. But of course, there are so many different species of orchids. 
I find that the Thais have a close relationship with the orchid. Not only do many people grow them, but they are widely sold on the market, and on many occasions - like this one - there are public displays of rare specimens.
It remains that this is a fascinating flower.
