approaching Saint Peter Port

9 o'clock Sunday morning. We were on the first tender boat. I really like this view and it was a difficult choice between this or the beautiful sunrise, or some of the narrow hilly streets. We have ancestors born in Guernsey and this was one of the reasons Kathy wanted to go - she's been working on the family tree for some years now, on and off, and she took photos of the houses where they were born which we found surprisingly easily. Not many shops were open but enough to get a couple of souvenirs. We bought really sweet little Guernsey glass bird brooches and I got a new handbag. A lovely morning of discovery.
