Bravo for the Boy!

Mike has been building a porch so rain doesn't come in on our new wooden floor - not that there's any prediction of it, but we live in hope. Temperatures are definitely improving, actually very pleasant to work in, and still warm enough to swim easily.

Us three have been cutting bravos (wild olive shoots), going a lot faster than last year. Here, though, Paul found a few huge ones I must have missed/deliberately ignored last year, so is attacking them with a saw. This tree is right on the edge of our land; that's a Roma van below.

Going to our first session at the Monsaraz Observatory at 21:30, so thought I'd Blip early, as will last at least two hours. This area was the first in Europe to be certified as a Dark Sky Reserve; all the towns around the Lake (including Mourão) have subdued street lighting to not spoil the view of the stars, which are amazingly clear, and different to the sky in Brazil, obviously.
