An autumn day

"Autumn draws its colourful cloak around our garden". I have been noticing big groups of starlings gathering in the park in the mornings recently, I wondered if they were getting ready leave but no, these are most probably starlings from colder countries arriving here.

The green bobbles you can see under the tree are actually conkers - still in their spiky shells.
