Davaar Island (before the rain came)

16.6C and dull, with one or two bright spells then showers in the afternoon. S/SSW/SW/WSW wind to 19 mph with gusts to 31 mph.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour then carried on along the park and Kilkerran road intending to go as far as Glenramskill House. However, as we approached the milestone a large black cloud drifted over town and the rain arrived. We turned back.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open). We were rather soggy by the time we got home.

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Mark Stephen visiting the Island of Lewis with the author Peter May. They   discussed the Lewis Trilogy, and visited the Port of Ness and the villages of Skigersta and Arabroc that made up most of the fictional village of Crobost he created for the books.

Afternoon music ... Runrig, In Search of Angels and Searchlight.
