Penultimate Day

I think you'll agree with me that my colleague L looks absolutely stunning today. She has a reason to look happy. Today was her penultimate day at work. After Friday she will be a retired lady of leisure. I will miss her wise counsel, her ready smile and her baking. L always makes time for everyone, no matter how busy she is. I hope she thoroughly enjoys this next stage of life.
