Pierhead, St Annes

A walk on the beach this afternoon before meeting a friend for coffee. It was a dull, comfortably warm day but the beach was almost totally empty. Only glimpsed the odd dog walker in the distance. I love times like this when the holidaymakers are elsewhere and all you can hear is the noise of the breeze and the cry of a seagull.
