A spot of light gardening......

Another busy day. First thing not to go as planned was a Hereford heifer out on the road. She has been out before and prefers the roadside verges to the grass in the field . However when I tried to put her back in the gate all her mates came out instead. Had to phone for help to put them all back in.
Jim M and his team turned up to do a spot of garden rearranging . Jason T turned up with his artic low loader with a 5 ton digger and 6 ton dumper to add to the 1 ton dumper and mini digger so it was all go.
Spent the morning tagging calves then off to the village soup lunch.
More grub tonight out for a family birthday birthday meal. Now totally stuffed !
