Discharged

This morning after a good night (for Lincoln, not me on my fold out bed) his surgeon popped into the hospital and discharged him. We had waited until 8.30 for the hospital activity room to open so while we waited for the paperwork Lincoln had a play. I didn't realise but they have a fully registered early childhood centre there. It was very impressive.

We got a ride back to Nana S and Grandad's to drop Lincoln off then I made it to work just 1hr 15mins late. I was glad to get there because we are very short staffed and under pressure at the moment. In hindsight I may have felt better if I'd ducked home for a shower first. I finally made it home just after 5 (from 8am yesterday).
