two sides

in all the old haunts today: BRIT, gingerman, the modern, other nooks and crannies and old rough-hewn tables and whatnot.

good to be back, good. spent all morning mounting at BRIT, some interesting things, 50 year old australian aquatics and things from the genus banksia that look like they're from another time. chatting with julie, becca - hellos to oh so many more.

becca and i head for beers right at 2p and what probably should have been 1 turns into 2 when sam shows up and it is good to see them both, to catch up, to think on life and all these great people i am very lucky to know.

then back to the parents and the making of many pies. ended the evening on the couch with mom, the brother and his gf, watching an old classic in our family - to wong foo, thanks for everything. good laughs.
