Sis and Barbara Hepworth

Sis has had a couple of days holiday this week so today we headed over to Wakefield to the Hepworth gallery. What an amazing resource for the whole of Yorkshire. Sculptures by Hepworth herself, Henry Moore and others from the St Ives artists. A special Lee Miller exhibition too which was fascinating. All for the price of a car park ticket.
I find sculpture fascinating and very tactile so was difficult keeping my hands to myself! I loved this sculpture called ‘Spring’ and of course sis just had to add to its beauty
