Seals at Sovereign Harbour

KarenC came to visit today. Once she had been sniffed, sat on and generally mobbed by the dogs we drove to Eastbourne. We had lunch at the Beach Deck then headed to the Sovereign Harbour for a photo walk. As fortune would have it we bumped into my photographer friend who told us the seals were sunbathing on the mud banks right on the water's edge. They were a bit far away for my zoom so I'm hoping Karen has a clearer photo to show you.

We were blessed with glorious weather. By the time we returned to the car I was melting. All in all a really good day out apart from the bit when I nearly fell down the stairs. Thanks Karen for coming to visit and for driving me today. Xx
