The Bell Inn, East Langton

East Langton is a lovely village, tucked away in a corner of Leicestershire; a village that people drive to but not through and so is very quiet. The Bell Inn is, fittingly, a lovely pub too. The white roses which festoon the garden in front of the building are past their best (see extras) but still doggedly retain their charm. Smugly supping a pint of well-kept JHB bitter as I waited for what turned out to be an excellent pie, I was taken with the different eye-catching colours of foliage and flowers at the window where we sat. I've tried to catch them - I hope I've got close!
