Sunny evening . . .

. . . in Carlisle.

We’re catching the end of Borderlines, Carlisle Book Festival. This afternoon I went to an excellent talk about Mary Shelley at Tullie House. We are now having a meal in a very busy restaurant. Then this evening we are going to see Stuart Maconie and hear about his walk from Jarrow to London, following the famous Jarrow Crusade of 1936. He’s always worth listening to, whatever he’s talking about, so it should be a good session. Back tomorrow!
