Here there and everywhere

Salsas

I tried 'the new Peruvian restaurant' tonight. It opened up a few months ago and little by little it's been making its mark in the barrio. It's about 2 mins from our door, out our passageway at the top end and aross the street! We've noticed that there are usually Peruvian customers, which is usually a good sign, and they must come specifically to the restaurant as there isn't an obvious Peruvian community in the barrio. Anyway, I tried it tonight. I just had chicken a la brasa, salad and chips, but it was tasty, a good price, and friendly service. It was served with those 4 sauces - spicy, tuna, avocado and I didn't pick up the 4th one.

I did household stuff the rest of the day - picking up dry cleaning, putting something in to get the sleeves shortened, spent a good few hours on the patio cutting back the hyacinth tree and tidying things up, and a bedding and towel launderette wash. Turns out 8.30pm is quite a busy time in the launderette!
