Getting wet

The weather has been so lovely recently that the constant rain today was an unpleasant surprise.

Murphy was due for a haircut and we had planned to take Willis for a walk at the nearby National Trust Property. But as it was do wet he stayed with Murphy while we got wet instead.

As you can see the poor gardener and his dog were getting wet too. And a spider had made his web on them while they sat enjoying their cup of tea.

We had planned to do lots of gardening today but that would have been very unpleasant in the rain. We did do some gardening later in the day when the weather had improved.
