BlowFly Grass - Briza Maxima

Also know as quaking grass and its origins are North Africa but its made itself very comfortable here! They are literally everywhere at the moment and i love the shape of them and in the late afternoon light this afternoon i thought they looked stupendous ;o)

J has arrived safely at the Gold Coast in Queensland and is having a great time already. He loves flying and all things to do with planes in general and was thrilled to get a pic of him talking to the pilot in the cockpit! See extras ;o)

Its been a quiet and lazy day, thank goodness, and i’ve lazed around all day apart from doing the washing and taking Toto to the river....ahhhhhhh!!
