Word Of The Day

I'm a curious sort of chap. Inquisitive without ever being an Inquisitor.  I love finding things out.  It's why I can happily spend a couple of hours with my Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase & Fable - there's no shortage of Interesting Stuff to discover.

And I should apologise in advance for any disturbing mental images you may have after reading this Blip.  Sorry.

I was delighted to discover my Word Of The Day - kalsarikännit.    I should explain that it means "drinking alone, at home, in your underwear". 

Who knew the Finns had such linguistic treasures?  They even have emojis for it.

And for anyone feeling a little disturbed - I have a bottle of water on my desk and I'm wearing trousers.
