The Cake Off

Team Beagle are on clean up duty. They are rather keen on cake batter. I made a Victoria sandwich, a chocolate tray bake and 4 batches of cheese scones.

Our friends came round for a barbeque this afternoon, one couple arrived bearing Banoffee Pie for Martin's birthday, the other left with two bags of scones in payment for carpentry services received. We have the very best of friends :)

The dogs did well with leftovers and they've had plenty of fuss today. They are worn out from all the excitement.
