Autumn time

A misty start at our wonderful b&b where we had a memorable breakfast of eggy bread with maple syrup! We then went off to an apple and pumpkin farm, picked a couple of pounds of delicious apples but left the pumpkins as the patch was rather poor.  In the afternoon we went to visit Cartrake Falls - a shortish hike that was most enjoyable being under cover!
We then drove to Staunton where we were staying the night in a rather splendid heritage hotel.  We ate in another delicious bistro before enjoying an ice cream en route back to the hotel. . . .  and an early night no doubt.
