A View From the Bear Butt

On our way home from Ohio, we stopped in at Cabela's in Dundee, Michigan. It is a giant sporting goods store...aimed mostly at hunters and fisherpersons. It is also filled with mounted animals of all types, but I know some Blippers find that to be disgusting...so I posted the large bronze piece outside.

It is massive. The tallest bear of the two stands at 24 feet, and they are fighting over a downed moose. (You can see the antlers in the bottom of the picture.)

The artist is a guy named Mike Hamby. He hails from Utah, and played football at Utah State, and later for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. He is very talented as an artist and sculptor.
