secret garden

Quilted

Sorry but I'm enraptured with my swiss cheese plant flower . This will do for today's MonoMonday challenge- seasonal. I think this might be the only flowering season ever so it needs to be recorded. The patterns are amazing especially the hood which looks almost quilted and is so thick and creamy. The phallic fruit does look a bit pineapply in texture too.  One or two brave souls thought they might be tempted to give it a nibble!

Dull, breezy and warmish - I'm still working away in the garden putting things to bed and achieving. One thing of excitement - we have a newcomer in the garden - a stoat! First seen nipping down the rat run at the back and then sauntering around the compost bins.  Not sure how stoats and foxes get on.

And according to the fashion supplement in the Sunday Times, wellies are the new thing!  Sadly they ought to be Jimmy Choo wellies rather than those purchased on Bantry market. I was almost a fashion icon.
