We are following in the footsteps of El Lawrence. En route we are spending the night near Harmondsworth, a village that will be largely destroyed when the third runway at Heathrow is built. The poppies are part of the villager’s commemoration of the end of WW1. Tomorrow will involve a much longer journey!
